The debate on the cities of the future brought no clear answer to many questions

Modern technology does not guarantee fast development of cities. Their authorities need more freedom in terms of how to perform their tasks.

What is necessary to create modern and resident-friendly cities? "Definitely, private companies are necessary. Cities should start to carefully expand the scope of the use of private capital. Further development of intelligent energy networks is also needed. The Advanced Measurement Infrastructure (AMI), e.g. meters for remote reading, is being build, which can provide more information about the network and allow users to better manage energy" said Robert Stelmaszczyk, President of the Management Board of RWE Stoen Operator.

Trust Cities and Communes
