Ryszard Petru, a Partner of PwC, believes that economies with well-developed exports, with numerous global players, can cope better in the crisis period.
The influence of global players on the development of regions and countries was discussed by the heads of big Polish companies during the panel titled "CEE Goes Global. Expansion of Foreign Companies from Central and Eastern Europe". During it PwC presented the report "Polish Champion". The company's analyses show that although countries often spend much money to make business activity global, companies do not know what money and on what terms they can use. This is important, because international expansion involves the introduction of innovation.
