Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk was nominated as the Man of the Year in CEE. CEZ concern is the best operating and managed company in the region, and Polish-American Freedom Foundation – was distinguished as the best non-governmental organization. Emil Brix from Austria was nominated as the fourth winner of the Forum’s prize with the title of New Culture of New Europe. The posthumous award was given to Bronisław Geremek and Alexander Solzenicyn.
