The Man and the Company of the Year
Since 1991, during the Economic Forum in Krynica, the Man of the Year and the Company of the Year awards have been presented. In 2011, the Forum's Programme Council awarded Vladimir Filat, Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, the Man of the Year award. This award is granted to an outstanding person whose attitude and achievements materially affected the course of events in this part of Europe. Tauron was distinguished as the Company of the Year. The forum's laurels were earned by ABCXXI – All of Poland Reads to Kids foundation being a Non-Governmental Organisation of Central and Eastern Europe.
