Poland has a chance to become the leader of innovativeness
„The public sector must be involved in innovations," stated Jadwiga Emilewicz, the Deputy Minister of Development, during the plenary session entitled "Role of Today's State in Shaping the Innovativeness of Economy". She reminded that the Responsible Development Strategy assumes an increase in outlays on research and development by up to 3% of the GDP (from 1% in 2016).
The role of the state, not only in terms of financing innovations but also in respect of the preparation of well-educated and creative people being key to innovations was pointed to by all the participants of the discussion. The special guest of this session was Saul Singer, an Israeli writer, the author of the famous book entitled "Start up nation". ©℗
